I had an 11 bushel hit last year. One field was the same size as yours when it was hit. It never rained and they just couldn't grow. Another field was 4 foot tall when they got hit and they were just messed up on top of the plant. However they were also 11 bushel. In both cases I think a rain would have lessened the problem.
