I would not buy a bin without owning the land under it. Period.
Having an easement on someone else’s land is better than someone else having an easement over your land. Frankly, easements often can control land better than ownership.
If it’s a good legal written easement, it wouldn’t bother me a bit to own a bin on someone else’s ground.
