I bought some corn back on the board last fall that I didn't have room for in the bins. I made some cash sales on stored grain (not enough) but never did anything about the futures sale.

So now she calls and says we need to do something this week, roll or take the lumps.

Here's the deal. She says she has tons of these calls to make, most for a lot more bushels than I have. By the sound of it the number of July contracts she has to clear by mid-week is unprecedented. These are contracts generally bought by folks like me that didn't have the needed storage.

How widespread do you think this is ? Market mover ?

Oh, and if you want to tell me what to do with the contract I'll listen this time, I promise.
