I should forward this to a banker I was talking to this spring about buying a distressed farm from the bank. My bid, while being the high bid, wasn’t enough to satisfy their losses....so and I quote “ we’ll just hang onto the land until it gets back to full value” said the banker. Also “we have investors who will be interested, not this year because they have spent their investment money but maybe next year”
And what happens when they find better returns elsewhere, I asked.....Deer in headlights look.
