EC SoDak | The rains tend to be a bit more consistent there than a bit of eastern SD, but noted. Basis is a good point, I don’t believe Moody County even has a grain facility other than a small private. Dell Rapids, Madison, Pipestone, Volga, or Aurora are probably the best bets and not horribly close.
All in all, it is definitely an aggressive price with interest rates on the rise. Unless is was paid for or mostly paid for in cash. Granted that area normally produces well, has money, and a handful of heavy hitters.
It took at least two who thought it was worth it, time will tell.
