Oh? I'd be rather intrigued to see the proof of those.
I shot from the hip with the jan 1 part but I will admit that, I couldnt find the daily high but i had gone thru this in the past looking at historical stuff... anyway a quick search showed the years where January average was higher than all the other months of the year 1967 @ 2.77, 1975 @ 6.03, 1981 @ 7.80, 1989 @ 7.69, 1998 @ 6.69, and 2015 @ 10.30
