Silver Creek MN | Now this is a bit of a hike from Minnetonka, but the small town of Terrace, MN, is worth the drive (over an hour). See http://www.terracemill.org/visit.html . Lots to see there, plus you would experience some nice countryside on the way, including a glacial ridge area. They used to have a great restuarant there, but it looks like that closed. Great historical photos in the old flour mill and a really peaceful setting on the Chippewa River. | |
