How many farmers have a 85 foot JLG? Looking at some folks equipment makes me wonder what I’m doing wrong in life.
Hi Tom -
I can't speak for Ron, but mine is a 45 ft Skyjack that I bought used at a auction for less than the current value of a hopper bottom load of corn. We have used it the last couple of years on a lot of remodeling and building of barns, hanging lights, trimming trees, and working on grain bins and facilities. It has saved me more than I paid for it in not having to rent one, and even more in the safety it has provided us. I will continue to use it for a few years, and someone will come along and want to buy it, and I will sell it for a profit. So don't discount someone else's use of machinery because it differs from the norm, often times for some of us, machinery can be a real profit center.
I wish mine was 85 feet tall!
