west central Iowa | I'm staying with him tonight and he's talking a lot, but hard to understand form having the tube so long. But either he's talking better or I'm getting better at understanding him. He was getting agitated and finally I understood him saying uncomfortable, when I couldn't do anything to help he ordered, go get my nurse. He was able to do all the physical things the nurse asked him to do and was able to lift his left leg back into bed when the nurse told him to. We we're kind of concerned he wasn't moving his left side as much, but that seems to be getting better. We're at University of Nebraska Medical Center and the doctors and nurses have been great.
Edited to add a couple that is good friends of ours, the wife's father is down the hall now, he had a 4 wheeler accident and broke a vertebrae in his neck and they're going to screw it back together tomorrow. So remember him in your prayers and be careful out there.
