We've wrapped thousands of bales of dry hay and like wet hay, the sooner you wrap it, the better. When we wrap dry hay, I want it to keep for over a year if I need it to. We typically do about 4 wraps, but the guy we rent the wrapper from only did 2 last year. He only put a single roll of plastic and called it good enough.
