Southwestern Minnesota | We rode the mules down to Phantom Ranch and spent the night there and came back up the next day. That was a fantastic experience, but you need to book it a year in advance unless you're going on an off-peak time. We also enjoyed a great meal at the El Tovar hotel- very nice lodge and restaurant that has the feel of luxury from year's gone by. There are interesting sites along the rim, Hermit's Rest, the Watchtower. You can ride the bus and get to the points of interest along the way. We were on the South rim. It's an amazing place. | |
