My wife uses a lot of baking soda and ammonia for cleaning our clothes. We don't use the perfumed detergents that cover up the smells and it can be hard to get the smells out of our clothes but I bet they are actually cleaner than those stinking perfumed clothes washed in some of those scented detergents.
