west central Iowa | Years ago I rented a set of buildings and yards for livestock. One day there was no water, I couldn't fix it so landlady said call a well guy. We had to pull the pump to put new couplers on the pipe. When we got the pump out of the casing there was a decent sized dead snake wrapped around it. We couldn't figure out how he got in there unless he been in since well was drilled several years before. Kinda threw up in my mouth a little when I thought about all the times I drank off the hydrant down there. | |
