Carter Montana | Upon taking the unit apart I found the switch to be a simple little piece of metal held in place by a piece of tape. It looks like it has been sliding out of place the last ten years so I repositioned it and put a piece of black electricians tape over it to keep it in place. I will probably have to fix it better this winter but I'm hoping this will be good enough for the season. I believe the piece of metal was making a connection for the required shutdown time and was shutting itself off repeatedly.
