NW Iowa. / SW Arizona | I have both, started with Farm Works for everything, accounting and farm record keeping probably close to 15-20 years ago now. I bought SMS at least 5 years ago if not longer and use it for 100% of my farming records, really like it, wouldn’t even think of using Farm Works again for that. However as you know SMS is not an accounting program. I’m not by my computer now but I know I haven’t updated the Farm Works program since I think 2011, I use it for my accounting only so don’t really need an update for that. I’m very seriously thinking of buying a different accounting system such as Quicken or Quickbooks which ever my wife used when she was working and dropping Farm Works altogether. My wife refuses to learn Farm Works and I can’t blame her it is a very complicated program when first starting out. | |
