SE South Dakota | My son has one. He got spinal meningitis when he was 4 months old and completely lost his hearing due to high fever and infection. About lost the little bugger. He is now 20 years old, 6' 7" and good basketball player and has his implant since the age of 7. Has worked well for him. Have a fella I know that is 82. Hearing was progressively getting worse from farming and such. He got 2 implants and has worked well for him. Talk to him regularly and he hears well. | |
