2630 if going in green equipment
If you have to bleed green, then you have to have a 2630, but the question on the floor which is more economical.
I have encountered situations where it was more economical to run greenstar, but they were few and far between. Especially since your unlocks are no longer transferable to the Gen4 equipment and you have to rent most of the features you want to use. With Ag Leader, you'll buy it once and be done, whereas Deere's ultimate goal is to get into your pocket over and over again, to rent features that should be standard on modern precision ag equipment (swath control and autosteer).
There is nothing wrong with running Greenstar if you want what it does, and are happy with that, but it's a solution for those that don't care about costs, not generally an economical solution. |
