Subject: Larva in my wheat seed

Redickville, Ont
I plant my own seed wheat to grow for the next year but I got this larva in it. I’ve seen it once before and didn’t plant it. Just feeding it. What is it. It’s gooey I guess and sticky. There’s a bunch wheat stuck together and you have to pull it apart to get the larva or worm out. It burrows right in middle of this white mess. Just trying to figure out what it is and how it got in there and how to control it for next time. I didn’t think to take a picture but might get one in morning. Thanks
