I am not familiar with the 4710, on our 4830 there are 6 jam bolts that wedge the slide tube tight,, loosen those up until it will slide,, one flat of the bolt head or two is usual enough depending on how the"last owner" adjusted it,,, do it evenly,,,,

Also if anyone wants to know,, you can adjust toe in to a certain degree by tightening those wedges to move the out end of the axle forward while you move the inside rearward and vice- versa depending how you want to track it,,,.

We had a rear axle that was toe'd out 2" on and it wasn't from a sheared key on the top or bottom of the slide shaft
,, mainly this applys to the rear axle which isn't adjustable
