I am confident the Arduino will mimic the flow meter successfully. Some research shows the digital output can easily run thousands of Hertz. We would be much below that. I would like it to read in and record the unit of Hertz, so this number could be mapped geospatially.

I enjoy doing things on the cheap, challenging, and unconventional way. (I set up vra on my planter for less than a grand)

I'm trying to monitor the weight on the gauge wheels. I currently watch a volt meter to tell if the planter is placing the seed deep enough. Most of the time it will just run independent of any other monitor, but for fun I want to map a few fields to look for patterns.
