Subject: Cleaning Culverts

I have 6 or 7 seven culverts around the farm that are needing cleaning badly. Most are completely stopped up with sand and leaves causing water to run across the dirt road causing a lot of bad issues. Most are in the 16-20" diameter range and are 20 to 30' in length. When younger we cleaned with pvc extended shovel handles. Too old now and don't have the time. I have heard of people jetting out culverts. Can someone explain to me what is required to do this and what technique is used. I have a 1500 gallon water tank with 2" hose. What pump would I need? What nozzle? etc. Anybody do this or do you hire it out?

Thanks
