Subject: What blades do I put on my John Deere 455 60 inch deck?? Gator or standard ??

I am unhappy with my cut of my standard blades I have on my 455 60 inch deck. I put brand new blades on it and it struggled to mow where the front tires push the grass down. I decided to order some gator blades. I mow every week so not mowing off a lot of grass I just need a clean cut . And my standard blades leave stranglers behind . I am out of ideas . Any ideas help appreciated. Will I be happy with the gator Blades? Will they create more of a lift? Thanks
