Eastern Shore of MD | This won't directly answer your question but I worked with a guy at UDEL; me with my P3P and he had an 3DR drone(?) with a Parrot Sequoia, which is superior to the Sentera IMO. I was picking his brain with the same question you had - how would my DroneDeploy RGB 'crop health' images compare to his legit NDVI images.
His response was that the DD would generate almost an identical map to that of the Sequoia on a one time basis but the Sequoia shined with multiple passes on different days. I never really investigated it much more, I just stuck with my RGB camera based on what I was trying to accomplish. | |
