Middlesex County, Ontario | What have you found? Most grounding rj45 connectors don't require a special crimper, just use any old rj45 crimper. This super generic kit is available anywhere online and works ok for occasional use: https://www.amazon.com/UbiGear-Crimper-Connector-Network-Crimper315/...
I wouldn't use a grounding connector unless you know why you are using one and you know what a ground loop is. If you aren't trying to cheat the 100 meter limit, aren't running 120v power in the same conduit, and you aren't running past any radio transmitters then you don't really need shielded cable. You can ignore the shield and just treat the cable as unshielded cable with standard non-grounding RJ45 connectors. |
