Subject: Early riser population monitor restarting?

nw MN
I have an old early riser monitor on my cyclo bean planter and the last day I used it it was restarting a couple of times per round. Not a big deal usually but I had a bad sensor I was trying to ignore and it would send it back into alarm mode and I have to cycle into program until it ignores them again. I have checked that the power and ground are good, this is actually hardwired to the buss bar under the dash. No plugs to go bad. I simulated it losing power and it just shuts off completely vs going into the start sequence again. Could a bad connection or short back on the planter harness cause it to do this? Or am I dealing with some internal fault?
