It might not be as complicated as NAT makes it out to be. Alot of us with full time jobs aren't around to pull calves from heifers. I can't even imagine the concept of losing a night's sleep to check cows or heifers. (I know alot of that is due to weather) I do like to make an appearance every day if I think a heifer is close. The outcome is usually the same as yours.
