Your response is kinda right and maybe a little wrong. In the real world ,EPD's may or may not be accurate, and to live and die by them isn't well advised on what might be numbers from an extremely low sample set. I'd venture to say where I live, most guys don't have a clue about whether the hf's dam had any problems or not. Same with the bull. As recently learned on here, most bulls don't stick around long enough to really know anything and who knows what kind of cow he came out of (maternal or terminal). The response I only saw once up above from JPT is correct (imho), an hour after the waterbag, there needs to be progress. Personally, I'd take a good tract score and good pelvic measurement over at least some EPD data on a set of hfs.
