NC Indiana | We had one a couple weeks ago that was acting like she was in labor at 8 PM. Went and checked on her at 11, ended up having it at 1:45. Caught one Monday with a leg and a tongue sticking out, wouldn't lay down once I came back with my gear. Ended up getting a chain on a leg, then the other one came out enough to get a chain on it and things progressed once the legs were lined up. Then had to convince her she had a calf. Ended up getting my daughter to put a halter on her and gave her grain to get her to stay still. Then put calf next to grain and things worked out from there. | |
