Subject: Counting hill drop cotton seeds

South Georgia
I upgraded my cotton planter (Deere MaxEmerge XP) from a “blinking light” planter monitor to the Dickey John IntelliAg system this year. I am seeing more discrepancies between my row units than I anticipated, especially as the vacuum pressure drifts off target. Does anyone know if a monitor can accurately count dill drop cotton? I am dropping 2 to a hill, and I would imagine they are pretty close together in the seed tube. I am curious if my row units are that far apart or if some row units just do a better job of counting both seeds. I am dropping 2 seeds about an inch apart every 7 - 9 inches running 4.5 to 5.0 MPH.

Does anyone think that Wavevision would do a better job?
