Missouri | What guidance pattern are you running?
Smart path just gets squiggly after a while. Each pass is a copy of the last pass, so you have progressively more error introduced into each next pass line. It can't really be tuned out. What it needs is for Ag Leader to introduce some guidance line smoothing algorithm into the system, or maybe if they could make smartpath automatically make identical curve lines when it figures out that's the path you are driving.
Workarounds include using identical curve guidance pattern (which is far less operator convenient than smart path), or I have had some luck mitigating the issue by reducing cross track error aggressiveness.
Knowing what settings someone else is running will not likely be helpful. They are all relative adjustments to the baseline calibration, and no two machines will be starting from the same baseline calibration.
