Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn.
4 x 34 = 136".

Another way to approach this. How far do you want the tractor to move over for the next pass?

Grab a piece of paper. Draw a dotted line representing the center of the tractor. Then draw in your rows. you will have one 17" to the right of the dotted line, then another 34" to the right of that. You are now on the edge of the first pass. Ideally the next row would be 34" to the right which would be the first row of the return pass, the next row is 34" to the right of that and finally you will want 17" to the center of the next tractor pass. Add them together 17 + 34 + 34 + 34 + 17 = 136"

Don't get confused by the half widths on the ends. Yet another way 1/2(34) + 34 +34 + 34 + 1/2(34) = 136
