Central Ohio | We have a Kinze 36 row 20" mechanical drive precision finger meter corn planter. This is the third year on a new set of electric AG leader surestop clutches. Have planted about 5,000 acres with it over the past three years.
This spring, from the start ( only 3,500 ac on the clutches) of the spring, clutches started slipping or not engaging every time. Probably changed 8 of them this spring. Is their life span really that short? It was one or two a day Any ideas or other experiences?
