It did. Three decent days and it's already getting a little hard to plow. It turns out that all that snow that hung on all through March & April, didn't actually have all that much moisture in it. It was cold for sure, and there was snow on the ground but the deep snow that makes moisture had gone in the Feb thaw and has long since drained away.
Now everybody's plowing like mad trying to get plowed before it gets too dry. My neighbor, a hay farmer is worried the hay won't grow like it should. He stopped this morning and we both remarked how little water was running in the intermittent water courses & little streams.
And there really isn't all that much rain in the forecast, to be followed by dry weather.
Sure not like last year. Rained two or three inches per week all spring.
