| There have been some decent opportunities to market beans at a profit. Personally, I'm happy with the sales I've made and not willing to give back a portion of a good sale in the form of options (insurance premium). If I was 80% sold instead of 40% I might look at such a strategy on 20% of my crop. I'm more focused on protecting and making good sales on my remaining 60% at this point.
If we get a super rally in June, I'll sell into it and maybe look to price some '19 beans. | |
