Anderson County Kansas | You are right he will use the money up and then it will be gone and the land will be gone. I have never seen this turn out good for anyone. I can't imagine selling ground I have owned and then farming it knowing I don't own it anymore. I saw a guy do this about 15 years ago. He told everyone how smart he was, selling it to an investor then was going to buy it back later cheaper. The investor let him farm it a year or two then rented it to a higher bidder. It has sold once since then and the land is worth 3 to 3.5 times more now than what he sold it for. He hasn't bought anymore ground and actually really doesn't own anything now.
