SW Ont | I will say this. The BIG money in farming is in the appreciation of real estate. The act of farming itself is a means to buy and pay for that investment. Some will trigger that value before they die and some won’t. All depends which side of the fence you’re on. Can’t take it with you. If I was the guy with paid for land and only wanted to farm for ten more years with no family to carry on....never know what tomorrow brings. As my dad would say..Your a long time dead..Different situation for everyone. | |
