| Sell farm and rent back is a very simple idea here is what these guys are thinking (I think it’s smart if you can do it right)
Ex
Young guy buys 100 acres cash flows it for 1-2 years.
Lines up another 100 acres to buy. Picks the best farm for him and keeps it sells the other one to an investor and sets up a 10 year rent back contract and first right/refusal to buy it back if investor sells.
Now he has 200 acres paying for 100 acres and no threats from others to bid up his rental ground for a decade and a chance to buy it back. Rinse and repeat and he will be in a very good financial situation in 2 decades or less
There’s many ways to skin a cat! Listening to conversations in farmer groups the guys who usually don’t get this idea or are mad about it are guys who where born with a silver spoon in there mouth so they never had to think outside the box.
PS I had a nice spoon in my mouth to but I understand different situations and applaud the guys who go against the grain ;) | |
