Waupun WI | I have a small herd and only sell regularly to a local butcher shop, they skin them and I've been getting $0.90 for a few months and they just dropped me to 75 ..ouch, but I know that's still better than the current market. I also sell privately for a $1.10 a pound. Probably should ask more.I see most get $1.25 and up especially for the heritage breeds that are almost a year old and get over 300 some pounds and they get to 2.50...I think that's a little crazy.
