Got this in my daily marketing report today.
Someone tell me how this works:
Headlines stating that U.S. companies will now have to put up a 178.6% deposit on the value of sorghum shipments going to Chinese buyers. Insiders say this was a big enough adjustment that it caused U.S. exports to come to a halt and traders to again take notice of political trade headlines.
Please explain how this tariff stuff works, according to this scenario
