| When I used to have cattle I didn't have time to sit in the house and fret about the cold snow (as opposed to sugar snow) on the ground and 3" more coming this morning in the third week in April either. But then again, how often did we have 3" of cold snow on the ground and no tillage done by the third week in April? I'll tell you, not that often.
I was thinking, after a drought year and wet year we were due for a decent year but I forgot about the possibility of a "cold" year. Well, I suppose since I haven't spread any fertilizer nor planted any seed, I technically haven't spent any money yet. Maybe I'll just send it all back, put the money back in the bank, be that much farther ahead and save all the aggravation. | |
