Convert to dry no moisture first so a ton at 15% is 1700 and a ton at 55% is 900 divide that into price 150/1700=.088¢ on dry matter and 50/900 is .0556¢ if comparable energy protein wetter is cheaper and if you wanted to feed 10 lbs of each DM then you add moisture back in. On dryer feed (10x100)/85 DM = 11.76 and on wet (10x100)/ 45 DM = 22.22. Hope that helps.
