Subject: RE: Tour of Lake Superior

I know there is a magazine and a tour advice group for trips around Lake Superior. I didn't find any of their documents in the piles I checked here this evening. One reference I did find was Minnesota Travel Guide from exploreminnesota.com.

Then there is superiorbyways.com

HEARToftheNORTHSHORE.com

I'm sure that every town and city around that tour path has a travel guide available for download or they will mail it when you request it. It can take a couple weeks (with pass port or passport card) to visit all the sights and drive the trip. Duluth alone can take a full day. Copper Harbor is quite a ways north of US 2 but has that state park at the old fort that is open for visiting. A little west of Copper Harbor you can drive up Mt. Brockway and see across the lake on a clear day.
