Subject: As always...a mixed bag

Adams, NE
Last year our trade territory had the 2nd largest crop ever (per NASS). The southern 1/3rd of territory had the worst crop since 2012 and probably 2nd worst since 2002. Irrigated yields were record high. Yields in Northern 1/3rd of territory were record high. I heard (and saw) from drought conditions to excellent conditions all year. I had the local crop at 2 bpa above trend line and it ended up 5 bpa above trend line.

Reporting the news is always good, whether the news is good or bad. It is not about killing the crop or predicted record yields.
