East-Central SD | No problem all the hay you see in the pics is old hay I had dumped around earlier in the winter when the ground was froze and the cattle never ate it. Where the cattle are standing are where I dumped the hay that night. The pics can be deceiving because there’s really not that much on the ground just enough to lightly cover it. They do waste some hay this time of the year by pushing it into the mud but if you feed them a couple times a day they do a pretty good job of cleaning it all up. | |
