NW Iowa. / SW Arizona | For 20 years I’ve used a Sensaphone alarm system using a reverse then normal presssure switch to alert me with great success. I’m not sure what the technical word for the pressure switch is but basically what it is the pressure switch is always closed unless the pressure drops below your desired water pressure ( I just use the default factory setting). If it opens up the Sensaphone will call me. You have to remember to set the Sensaphone to normally closed on the setting to work. The pressure switch cost more then a regular switch but it’s woth it. I get mine from my local plumbing supplier. I always keep a new extra one on hand because they don’t always keep one on hand and it seems like it always go bad on weekends :-). | |
