Central SD | We used some last year. We baled it and then grazed the regrowth. I think it would work best to chop then graze the regrowth. It's good feed but the stuff is hard to get dried down. It looked like it was going to make a pile of bales but only did 3.5 to the acre. We probably won't use it again just because of the extra cost. Our sorghum did almost 10 bales to the acre and was way cheaper and dried down better. But we also didn't get regrowth back. For what that's worth to you. | |
