I don't mind the sound of a loud Harley, if its half a mile away. What bugs me more are the newer snowmobiles with the two stroke buzz boxes breathing through the "fart can" exhaust systems. Sounds pretty much like a bee stuck in an envelope only way louder and annoying. I love a good old V8 with low restriction straight pipes. They are only loud if you get heavy on the throttle and not deafening to drive. And straight pipes on a tractor never made sense to me. After the first ten minutes the novelty would wear off and the aggravation would set in. Still got most of my hearing at 64 and planning to keep it.
