10. Straight Pipes Annoy the Public and Create Road Rage
Straight pipes do not save lives, they create road rage and lower our standing in the community. It makes the public hate us more and they in turn want to run us over, as the article in our issue 7 about the Florida incident indicates.
I have ridden a bike my whole life (going on fifty years of riding now.) and I am one that detests the stupid loud pipes on primarily Harleys it seems. I have had many bikes with headers and glass pack mufflers, but never had that harsh loud crap I hear today. So please quit that loud sh*t, it is dangerous enough to ride these days as it is. I don`t need the next car to take your inconsiderateness out on ME. KB | |
