When the railroad was pulled up next to me in about 1986 the land that was condemed to make the railroad got theirs back. THOSE THAT SOLD TO THE RAILROAD did not. The county conservation got it bought before adjoining land owners had a chance. 25 years later the county sold it to the adjoining landowners because they could not justify the cost of fence upkeep and water flow issues.
