Subject: RE: Trimble Roll Calibration

Its just a $10 laser level on a piece of steel plate thats bent at 90 degrees. Has a high power magnet on it so I can stick it on a draw bar and point it towards the ground. Then I have that plate with a 2" spread on it on the ground. Mark it in the center on your first pass. Then when you come back in the opposite direction you should be able to measure exactly how far you are off with a measuring tape. I have had situations were calibrating a ROLL in a driveway near buildings/trees can sometimes give false readings. Then when you go to an open field it can be off slightly. Also remember to reset the ROLL CAL to 0 before starting.
